Swell Summary
A series of large north to northwest swells will continue to impact the Hawaiian waters through the week, keeping the surf along exposed north and west facing shores at and above advisory levels through much of the period. The first in the series will peak today out of the north-northwest, then lower into Monday. A new, long-period north- northwest swell will build down the island chain Monday, peak Monday night, then lower into midweek. The next in the series will arrive and peak Wednesday night into Thursday, then ease into Friday. Surf along east facing shores will remain small each day. Surf along south facing shores may rise slightly by midweek as a small, long-period south- southwest swell arrives and moves through.
