Maui United Way received another grant from the Hawai’i Community Foundation to continue purchasing personal protective equipment (PPE) to distribute to non-profits throughout Maui Nui to keep staff, offices and clients safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Maui United Way also received generous donations of PPE to continue to supply those in need.

“With these funds we’ve been able to provide a much-needed service that allows our community’s nonprofits to continue to provide for our ‘Ohana in a safe and healthy manner,” Maui United Way President and CPO Nicholas Winfrey said. “And please continue to #DoMoreGoodMauiNui!”

Requirements for PPE distribution include being a non-profit organization and wearing masks when entering the Maui United Way office for pick-up.

There will be a schedule for pickup so that there is never more than one agency at a time. Maui United Way will sanitize contact areas between pickups.

If you are in need, please email [email protected], and she will coordinate the distribution with you. If you have any questions, please call 808-244-8787.
