Online registration will begin on Sunday, May 16, for the 2021 “PALS Keiki Kare” Summer Program.

The Department of Parks and Recreation reports the program will provide working families with essential summertime child care and help strengthen family and community connections.

Program registration must be completed online before Saturday, May 22, 2021. The program is open to children 5 to 12 years old. This will be the only registration period for “PALS Summer Keiki Kare” sessions on Maui, Molokaʻi, and Lānaʻi.

The program will begin Monday, June 14, and continue through Friday, July 23, 2021.

Motivated and creative individuals are also being sought to help care for keiki participating in the program. The program needs people who love working with children and who can provide a fun and safe place for them to learn and grow. Applications are being accepted for this seasonal job opportunity.
