A series of small, mainly background south swells can be expected through Thursday. A larger long period south swell is expected to fill in by Friday, peak Saturday, then lower slowly through Sunday. Easterly trade winds will continue to produce short period choppy surf along east facing shores through Wednesday. With the expected increase in trade winds over and upwind of the island beginning Wednesday, surf heights are expected to increase later in the week and on into the weekend.
