Swell Summary

Surf along east facing shores will remain rough through the first half of next week due to strong trades and large seas. The advisory currently in place through Sunday for exposed east facing shores may need to be extended through Monday in later packages. A gradual downward trend is then anticipated Tuesday through midweek. Surf along south facing shores has trended up early this morning due to a late season south swell filling in. Surf will reach the advisory level today through Sunday as it peaks. A gradual downward trend is expected early next week along all south facing shores. Surf along north facing shores will remain small through early next week. The exception will be at north facing locations exposed to the trade wind energy, which will result in rough conditions. An upward trend will be possible along exposed north and west facing shores by next weekend due to a potential small, northwest swell.
