Beginning Oct. 18, the Polo Beach Park parking lot in Wailea will be closed for about five months to undergo a Maui County repaving project that includes improvements to accessibility, drainage and landscaping.

Beach access and the comfort station will remain open throughout the parking lot project, located at the corner of Kaukahi Street and Makena Road. On-street parking will remain open along Kaukahi Street. There also is parking at the Wailea Beach lot.

Members of the public are asked to remain outside of construction areas for safety reasons.
