Former Hawai‘i Resident Wins Nearly $110K on Slots at the California Hotel and Casino

A lucky guest, who recently moved to Las Vegas from Hawai’i, was playing on the Red White & Blue slot machine on Sunday at 2:54 a.m. when he won a progressive jackpot totaling $109,732 on a $10 spin.

The man, identified only as Danilo R., visited Boyd Gaming’s California Hotel and Casino on Sunday, Oct. 10, and hit a jackpot of nearly $110,000 on IGT’s Red White & Blue slot game.

Last month, another guest hit a large jackpot on an IGT slot game at a Boyd Gaming property in Downtown Las Vegas. The lucky player, who was visiting the Fremont Hotel and Casino to celebrate her wedding anniversary, scored a progressive jackpot of $382,310 on a Wheel of Fortune® Triple Red Hot 7’s slot machine on Sept. 3, 2021.
