Maui fire crews responded to a mountain rescue in ʻĪao Valley on Monday afternoon.
Crews responded to a report of a woman who sustained injuries during a fall while hiking on the trail.
Firefighters arrived on scene to find the woman being walked out with the assistance of her hiking companions, according to Maui Fire Department Acting Information Officer, Chris Stankis.
The injured hiker was escorted down the trail and examined by awaiting medics.
