The nonprofit Maui Food Technology Center is accepting applications from food truck entrepreneurs to operate at its Maui Street Market in Kahului.

The food truck hub is located in the parking lot at 150 Hāna Highway, next to The Club Maui fitness center. Space is subject to availability.

Rent is $750 per month with an initial deposit of $750. A 6-month minimum lease contract is required. Maui Food Technology Center will provide security cameras, water, trash service, relief stations and six gazebos with picnic tables.

Food trucks must provide their own generator for power. A number of parking stalls located adjacent to the food truck hub are available for customers.

The Maui Street Market is open 7 days a week, however, food trucks can set their own operating hours.

“Whether your food truck is already established or you’re just starting out, having a central location in Kahului at an affordable lease can definitely help your bottomline,” said Luana Mahi, the center’s president. “Our food truck hub offers a great opportunity to establish a home base that you can build your clientele while strengthening your own unique brand and menu offerings.”

Food truck operators interested in reserving a space should email [email protected] or call 888-948-6382.
