Back by popular demand, The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua announced the return of Honolulu-based musician Tavana for a special concert on Nov. 26 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Tavana will perform in the resort’s Alaloa Lounge, located in the lobby overlooking Kapalua and Honokahua Bay.

“Tavana is one of the most dynamic performers in Hawaiʻi and we’re thrilled to welcome him back to our newly reimagined Alaloa Lounge,” said Andrew Rogers, general manager of The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua. “His soulful, island-inspired rock and blues will make for a truly memorable Thanksgiving weekend.”

A Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award nominee, Tavana is known for playing guitar, banjo, lap steel, and ʻukulele, and singing soulful, island-inspired rock and blues. He has performed with legendary musicians Eddie Vedder, Henry Kapono, John Cruz, Willie K, and many others. This past summer, he opened for Jack Johnson at the Waikīkī Shell, along with Paula Fuga.

Just off the resort’s lobby lānai, Alaloa Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua boasts an extensive craft cocktail menu highlighting local ingredients, an elaborate sushi and sashimi menu, and elevated comfort cuisine. Menu highlights include toro tartare with caviar, tuna tataki, and seared salmon rolls. Live music is offered seven nights a week at no cover charge. Valet parking is complimentary.
