The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua announced Kamaʻāina Season, a special promotion dedicated to honoring the local community.
Throughout May and June, Hawaiʻi residents are invited to experience the resort with exclusive offers and events.
Exclusive Kamaʻāina Offers
- Special Room Rates: From May 1 to June 30, Hawaiʻi residents can enjoy a luxurious stay at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua starting at $349 per night, with a waived resort fee and complimentary valet parking.
- Resort Activities: Hotel guests can participate in more than 70 resort activities weekly, including complimentary cultural experiences, fitness classes, and more.
- Kapalua Golf: Renowned for breathtaking views and challenging layouts, the award- winning Plantation and Bay Courses are a must-play for golfers and offer seasonal kamaʻāina rates.

Music, Entertainment, and Shopping
- Kapalua Concert Series featuring Tavana (May 2, 6-9 p.m. at Alaloa Lounge) – A Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award nominee, Tavana is known for playing guitar, banjo, lap steel, and ʻukulele, and singing soulful, island-inspired rock and blues. He has performed with legendary musicians Eddie Vedder, Henry Kapono, John Cruz, Willie K, and many others.
- Alaloa Live featuring Taimane and Desert Hollow (May 18, 6-9 p.m. at Alaloa Lounge) – Hawaiʻi’s 2023 and 2019 Favorite Entertainer of the Year, Taimane, returns to The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua for a Sunday sunset concert with her band. Special guest Desert Hollow will open the evening.
- Alaloa Live featuring Akoni Palomino (June 1, 6-9 p.m. at Alaloa Lounge) – Born and raised on Maui, Akoni Palomino has spent 15 years refining his unique island sound, blending Hawaiian and reggae rhythms.
- Alaloa Live featuring Brian Santana (June 2, 6-9 p.m. at Alaloa Lounge) – Growing up in a musically rich family, Brian Santana dreamed of sharing his passion with the world, inspired by his famous uncle, Carlos Santana. Now, he is living that dream, delighting audiences with classic hits and original songs.
- Kapalua Concert Series featuring Jason Arcilla (June 6, 6-9 p.m. at Alaloa Lounge) – Known most recently for his remarkable journey on NBC’s The Voice Season 24, Jason Arcilla is a Maui-based musician, singer-songwriter, and producer. Infusing R&B with reggae and island surf rock influences, Arcilla has coined his unique sound as “reggae and blues.”
- Maui Songwriters Festival Summer Series featuring Randy Rogers (June 20, 6-9 p.m. at Alaloa Lounge) – Randy Rogers, a talented singer/songwriter from Cleburne, Texas, is known for his emotive, rootsy anthems. He gained attention in the early 2000s and released several Top Ten country albums with his band. Their latest album, Homecoming, was produced by Radney Foster. Special guest Matt Del Olmo will open the evening.
- Tales of the Kapa Moe Lūʻau (Tuesdays and Fridays, 5:30 p.m. at Aloha Garden Pavilion) – Enjoy a feast for all senses and world-class cuisine at this new luxury lūʻau and dinner show, created exclusively for The Ritz-Carlton Maui by kumu hula Pono Murray. Reservations required.
- Aloha Friday Markets (Every Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hawaiian Garden) – Shop and support local Maui artists, crafters, and fashion designers, and take home a unique Maui keepsake and memento.
- Nightly Live Music at Alaloa Lounge with a Hawaiian sunset ceremony at 6 p.m.

- Kapalua Wine & Chef Series featuring Mawa McQueen (May 10, 5:30 p.m. at Banyan Tree) – Chef Mawa McQueen, the MICHELIN-bibbed and James Beard-nominated culinary star behind Mawa’s Kitchen, Mawita, and The Crepe Shack in Aspen and Snowmass Village, CO, is teaming up with Justin Vineyards to present a spectacular four-course dining experience. Inspired by her African, French, and American roots, and celebrated for her balanced, healthy, and locally sourced dishes. Reservations required.
- Mother’s Day Brunch (May 11, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ulana Terrace) – Savor an array of alluring culinary creations at our exquisite Mother’s Day Brunch. Delight in a bounty of flavors, from delectable seafood to freshly rolled sushi, succulent prime rib, eggs benedict station, decadent desserts, and an abundance of other culinary delights awaiting your indulgence. - Kapalua Wine & Chef Series featuring Kelsey Barnard Clark (June 14, 5:30 p.m. at Banyan Tree) – Chef Kelsey Barnard Clark, the first Southerner to win Bravo’s “Top Chef” in 2019 and a 2024 James Beard Award nominee, is teaming up with Lewis Cellars for a spectacular dinner experience inspired by her new book, “Southern Get-Togethers.” All guests will receive a signed copy of the book, which is dedicated to entertaining and hosting unforgettable gatherings. - Chef’s Table (Fridays, 5:30 p.m. at Banyan Tree) – An interactive dining experience and tasting menu highlighting local ingredients at an alfresco dinner under the Maui stars. Reservations required.
- Kamaʻāina Appreciation Nights (Thursdays, 5-9 p.m. at Banyan Tree) – On Thursdays, kamaʻāina receive 20 percent off food and drink and can enjoy live local entertainment. Specialty Sushi and Live Music (Nightly, 4-9 p.m. at Alaloa Lounge) – Alaloa Lounge features sushi from 4 p.m. and live music from 6 p.m. every night. A sunset ceremony saying farewell to the day takes place nightly at 6 p.m.
