Areas of War Memorial Complex to close briefly during public events this month

Areas of War Memorial Complex in Wailuku will temporarily close to accommodate public events for four days in May, according to the County of Maui Department of Park and Recreation.

The May 2025 closures are as follows:

  • Saturday, May 10: Coach Soichi Sakamoto Pool and War Memorial Complex’s Tennis Courts
  • Sunday, May 18 through Monday, May 19 and Saturday, May 31: Coach Soichi Sakamoto Pool, War Memorial Complex’s Tennis Courts and Little League Fields #1-5

Additionally, Keōpūolani Regional Park will be opening later at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 10.
