May’s Hawaiian Music Series to feature Logan Kalawaia
Lahaina Restoration Foundation’s Hawaiian Music Series of May will feature a performance by rising Maui musician Logan Kalawaia. The free, family-friendly concert will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the scenic Ocean Lawn at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa in Kāʻanapali.
Free parking is available when using the self-parking lot. Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets, mats, or low-back beach chairs to relax and enjoy the music on the lawn.
Born and raised on Maui, Logan Kalawaia grew up immersed in a family of musical talents, including his father and uncles. This young musician has been performing professionally for several years, bringing a fresh voice to the island’s music scene while honoring the traditions of Hawaiian mele.
“The Lahaina Restoration Foundation remains committed to our 17-year tradition of creating meaningful opportunities for our community to come together, while supporting local talent and celebrating Hawaiian mele,” said Theo Morrison, executive director of the foundation.
This cherished tradition is made possible through the support of the Maui County Office of Economic Development, with the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa generously providing the venue for the 2025 series.
