Servco Pacific, Inc.— Hawaiʻi’s largest private company with operations in the automotive and musical instruments industry — has been named a US Best Managed Company Gold Standard honoree for the sixth consecutive year.

“We are incredibly honored,” said Servco President and CEO Peter Dames. “This award reflects our team’s unwavering commitment to innovation, service, teamwork and respect for our team members, customers and communities.”

Founded in 1919, Servco operates automotive distributorships for Toyota, Lexus and Subaru in Hawaiʻi and is the largest Toyota dealer group in Australia. The company also owns a stake in Fender Musical Instruments Corporation and invests in music creation and mobility ventures such as Roland Corporation and Hui Car Share.

US Best Managed Companies is part of a global Deloitte Private program, and is sponsored by The Wall Street Journal.

An external panel of judges evaluated program applicants based on four key areas: strategy, ability to execute, corporate culture and governance/financial performance. Gold Standard is an honor awarded to companies who earn and maintain their status for at least four years.

With the announcement, Servco joins a global Best Managed Companies community of over 1,400 organizations across 44 countries.

For the past 21 consecutive years, Servco has also been named one of Hawaiʻi’s “Best Places to Work” by Hawaiʻi Business Magazine.
