E Hoʻi Ka Nani I Mokuʻula (Let the Glory Return to Mokuʻula). PC: Lahaina Restoration Foundation

The Lahaina Restoration Foundation is now accepting reservations for the next screening of E Hoʻi Ka Nani I Mokuʻula (Let the Glory Return to Mokuʻula) on Friday, June 13 at 6 p.m. at The Sphere at Maui Ocean Center. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.

This 360° animated film immerses viewers in the rich history and legacy of Mokuʻula, once the spiritual and political heart of the Hawaiian Kingdom. Created in collaboration with cultural practitioners, community members, and kūpuna, the film brings to life and celebrates one of Hawaiʻi’s most sacred and significant sites, and offers audiences the chance to step into the past and witness the beauty and importance of Mokuʻula in a truly unforgettable way.

The film is presented by the Lahaina Restoration Foundation with supported from the County of Maui Office of Economic Development and the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority through the Community Enrichment Program and Rotary District 5000.

Admission for the movie is free and parking is free after 5 p.m. A reservation for this event is required, and can be completed at www.lahainarestorationevents.org.
