Mahi Pono is bringing fresh flavors and big news to this year’s Maui AgFest with the debut of its new Maui-grown coffee, produced in collaboration with Hawaiʻi’s iconic Lion Coffee, and the official launch of its popular summer watermelon season. Both will be featured at the festival this Saturday, May 31, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the War Memorial Complex in Wailuku.

“This is a proud moment for our entire team, and we’re very excited to share the fruits of our labor with the community,” said Shan Tsutsui, chief operating officer at Mahi Pono. “Whether it’s harvesting our sweet watermelons or producing Maui’s newest locally grown coffee, it’s all about supporting local families, strengthening food security, and giving back to our Maui community.”

As part of the celebration, Maui-grown watermelons will be sold for a special event price of just $10. Pre-orders are available now (Watermelon preorder form), while supplies last.

Festivalgoers will also be among the first to sample and purchase Mahi Pono’s new Maui coffee blend, grown in Central Maui and roasted locally by Lion Coffee. A portion of all coffee sales will support the Maui Strong Fund, helping to aid local recovery and resilience efforts.

Visitors to the Mahi Pono booth can also enjoy a bounty of fresh Maui-grown produce, including sweet onions, ʻulu (breadfruit), citrus, and other seasonal island fruits. Join Mahi Pono at the Maui AgFest, to sample the harvest, shop local and support local farmers. For more information about Mahi Pono, visit www.mahipono.com.
