Missing person: man failed to return after leaving his Haʻikū home Friday

Julian Mance

The Maui Police Department requests the public’s assistance with any information on the whereabouts of Julian Mance, 67, of Haʻikū.

Mance was reported missing by a concerned acquaintance on Monday, June 2, 2025, after he left his Haʻikū residence on Friday, May 30, 205, at approximately 3 p.m. and has not returned home.  The last contact with Mance via phone was on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at approximately 3:30 p.m.

Mance does not have a vehicle.  Mance is described as 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighs about 225 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and black shorts. 

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mance, is asked to contact the Maui Police Department’s non-emergency number at 808-244-6400; or if it is an emergency, dial 911 and refer to MPD report No. 25-016176.
