Lahaina Restoration Foundation presents Wailau Ryder in June concert

The Lahaina Restoration Foundation’s June concert for its Hawaiian Music Series will feature a performance by the talented Wailau Ryder. The free, family-friendly event will take place on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the Ocean Lawn at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa in Kāʻanapali.

Free self-parking is available. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, mats, or low-back beach chairs to enjoy an evening of live Hawaiian music in a relaxed, outdoor setting.

Wailau Ryder is a musician, and Grammy and Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award-winning producer from Oʻahu. Raised in a musical family—his mother a kumu hula and his father a guitarist—Ryder began playing music at just 8 years old. With over 30 years of experience, he has performed with many of Hawaiʻi’s most beloved artists and contributed to more than 100 albums.

“As we continue the important work of rebuilding Lahaina’s historic sites, we remain deeply committed to our community — supporting local musicians and celebrating the beauty of Hawaiian mele,” said Theo Morrison, Executive Director of the Foundation.

This beloved monthly series is made possible through the support of the Maui County Office of Economic Development, with the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa generously providing the venue for the 2025 series.
