MEO offices to close Monday, Aug. 17 due to ongoing storm impacts

PC: Maui Economic Opportunity

Maui Economic Opportunity, Inc. will be closing its offices, including Wailuku, Hāna, Molokaʻi, and Lānaʻi, on Monday, August 17, due to ongoing impacts from Lala. MEO’s Head Start classrooms will also be closed. 

Maui Bus ADA paratransit service, operated by MEO, resumed services on Sunday, August 16, and will continue to operate. Human Services transportation will also resume operations on Monday. 

Hāna, Molokaʻi and Lānaʻi transportation will resume operation for essential services, including medical appointments and dialysis. However, Hāna services will be limited to Hāna town. 

MEO Transportation in Puʻunēnē can be reached at 808-877-7651, in Hāna at 808-248-8282, on Molokaʻi at 808-553-3218, and on Lānaʻi at 808-565-6665.

The company apologizes for any inconvenience to the public.
