A water service outage continues in the Olinda/Piʻiholo service area. Four water buffaloes (potable water tanks) are stationed at 1222 Olinda Road.  Crews are on site to assess the outage.  Restoration time is unknown at this time.

The outage was first reported on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, but crews from the County of Maui Department of Water Supply were unable to continue their assessment due to inclement weather and multiple downed trees.
