Maui Chamber of Commerce and BizFlixTalk™ Bring Subsidized Business Growth Program to Maui Entrepreneurs

Maui business owners will have a new opportunity this fall to step back from the day-to-day demands of running a business and focus on what comes next through The Business Expansion Blueprint, a six-week interactive business-growth experience offered by the Maui Chamber of Commerce in partnership with BizFlixTalk.

The program begins Sept. 22 and runs through Oct. 27, combining three in-person sessions at the Maui Chamber of Commerce office in Wailuku with three live online sessions. The initial cohort will be limited to approximately 20 participants to encourage meaningful interaction, collaboration and guided support.

The program has a value of $1,495, but the majority of the cost is being subsidized for this special Maui cohort. Chamber members can register for $49 through Sept. 5, while non-members can register for $69. Beginning Sept. 6, the fee increases to $79 for members and $99 for non-members, if space remains.

Helping Business Owners Work On Their Business

Maui business owners spend much of their time serving customers, managing operations, navigating costs and keeping their businesses moving. Finding time to step back, assess the bigger picture, and develop a strategic growth plan can be challenging.

The Business Expansion Blueprint is designed to provide that time and structure.

Participants will explore six key areas of business growth, including financial readiness and profitability, marketing and visibility, sales and revenue opportunities, leadership and capacity, scalable systems, and strategic planning. The program will also address challenges and opportunities particularly relevant to Maui businesses, including workforce constraints, shipping and operating costs, changing visitor patterns, reaching local and off-island customers, technology, artificial intelligence, partnerships and business resilience.

Rather than simply delivering information, the program emphasizes assessment, application and implementation. Participants will use Business Health Assessments, interactive exercises, AI-supported strategic reflection, peer discussion and business-planning tools to apply the concepts directly to their own businesses.

The goal is for participants to complete a Business Expansion Blueprint and personalized 90-Day Implementation Plan, helping them turn broad goals such as increasing sales, improving marketing or growing their business into specific priorities and actionable next steps.
