First Tee Hawaiʻi opens registration for programs across Hawaiʻi

Registration is open for First Tee — Hawaiʻi’s fall programming opportunities of 2026. First Tee — Hawaiʻi is a youth development organization that helps kids and teens build their strength of character through golf.

Trained coaches deliver the programs to kids and teens ages 7 to 17, helping build their inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience – preparing them for the future. Using the game of golf as the platform, participants learn critical life skills to help them grow socially, emotionally and academically.

Parents can register their kids aged 7 to 17 to participate at FirstTeeHawaii.org for the following sessions:

Maui:

• The Dunes at Maui Lani
  • Tuesdays,  Sept. 1 – 29 (Scratch Club). Scratch Club gives juniors a chance to take what they’ve learned in First Tee and apply it on the course. Players focus on course management, smart decision-making, and having fun in a relaxed, encouraging environment, not about perfecting swings.
    • Ages 9–17: 4 – 5:30 p.m.
  • Wednesdays, Sept. 2 – 30
    • Ages 7–9: 4– 5p.m.
    • Ages 10–17: 5:15 – 6:15 p.m.
  • Saturdays, Sept. 5 – Oct. 3
    • Ages 7–9: 8 – 9 a.m.
    • Ages 10–17: 9:15 – 10:15 a.m.
• Maui Nui Golf Course
  • Tuesdays, Sept. 1 – 29
    • Ages 7–11: 4 – 5 p.m.
• Pukalani Country Club
  • Thursdays, Sept. 3 – Oct. 1
    • Ages 7–15: 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.
• Wailea Golf Club
  • Thursdays, Sept. 3 – Oct. 1 (Scratch Club at Wailea Blue) Scratch Club gives juniors a chance to take what they’ve learned in First Tee and apply it on the course. Players focus on course management, smart decision-making, and having fun in a relaxed, encouraging environment, not about perfecting swings.

    • Ages 9+: 9:15 – 10:15 a.m.

Big Island:

A new program location has been established at Naniloa Golf Course. Families can sign up for three classes for the price of two for this special inaugural session ($39)

Oʻahu:

• Leilehua Golf Course
  • Saturdays, Sept. 12 – Oct. 3
    • Ages 7–9: 8– 9a.m.

• Walter J. Nagorski Golf Course (Honolulu)

    • Ages 7–11: 4– 5:15 p.m.

LPGA*USGA Girls – Hawaiʻi :

In addition to First Tee Hawaiʻi’s 5-week sessions, the organization kicksoff its LPGA*USGA Girls – Hawaiʻi season with a special free clinic event with LPGA TOUR star, Nasa Hataoka, presented by Hilton Grand Vacations. Girls ages 6-17, of all golf skill levels, are invited to this free event, which includes a clinic, Q&A, and giveaways.
