Meetings scheduled for Maui Island Special Management Area boundary assessment project

The Department of Planning is holding community meetings to share information and gather feedback on the Maui Island Special Management Area boundary assessment project.
West Maui: Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Lahaina Intermediate School Cafeteria (871 Lahainaluna Road, Lahaina)
Central Maui: Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Kahului Community Center (275 Uhu Street, Kahului)
Meetings in Hāna, Pāʻia and Kīhei will be held in October.
