Anthony Pfluke to perform on International Peace Day in Maui

Musician Anthony Pfluke will perform live at the 2nd Annual International Peace Day Peace Pole Livestream, taking place Monday, Sept. 21, from 12 to 3 p.m., the Teran James Young Foundation announced. Pfluke will play from 1:15 to 2:45 p.m., bringing live music to this community celebration of peace. 

The event is hybrid. You can join online via Zoom (Meeting ID: 870 7760 8121 Passcode: 220720) or in person at TJYF’s community building, located at 1727 Wili Pa Loop in Wailuku. (Event RSVP).

The gathering centers around the tradition of the Peace Pole — a monument bearing the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth,” found in communities across nearly 200 countries worldwide. TJYF’s event invites the Maui community and beyond to pause, reflect, and recommit to peace, with live music, reflection, and connection at its heart.

The Teran James Young Foundation is a Peace & Sustainability nonprofit based in Maui, dedicated to peace and sustainability programs in schools, the community, and the world.
