Awapuhi Lane structure fire in Wailuku, Maui. (9.23.26) PC: Maui Fire Department
A fire at a Maui home Wednesday night caused an estimated $100,000 in damage and displaced one resident. The fire was reported at 7:06 p.m., Sept. 23, 2026, on Awapuhi Lane in Wailuku.
Responding units included Engine 1, Mini 1, Engine 10, Rescue 10, Engine 6, and a fire investigator.
The fire was brought under control at 7:22 p.m., and was extinguished at 9:28 p.m.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is undetermined.
