MEO transportation resumes all regular services

A fleet of MEO buses stationed in Hāna, Maui. The Maui Bus ADA Paratransit services will resumed normal operations on Sunday, Sept. 27. Human Services transportation, including services in Hāna, Molokaʻi and Lānaʻi, will resume normal operations on Monday, Sept. 28.

Maui Economic Opportunity, Inc. transportation will resume all Human Services transportation on Monday, Sept. 28, including services in Hāna, Molokaʻi and Lānaʻi. Maui Bus ADA Paratransit services resumed regular operations on Sunday. This follows modified operations on Saturday, Sept. 26 due to Hurricane Nolo,

MEO will continue to monitor weather and road conditions and make any necessary operational adjustments.

“We appreciate the patience and understanding of our riders and the community and we are grateful that services are able to resume safely,” said MEO CEO Maggie Batangan. “The safety of our clients, drivers, and community remains our top priority.”

Maui Economic Opportunity, Inc., is a nonprofit agency that’s part of the national Community Action Partnership network, whose goal is to help low income individuals and families help themselves and transform their lives.
