Paʻūpili Lahaina 3rd Saturdays brings music, culture and community together on Oct. 17
The spirit of community continues to thrive in Lahaina as Paʻūpili Lahaina 3rd Saturdays returns on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lahaina United Methodist Church. The free, family-friendly gathering invites residents and visitors to spend the day enjoying Hawaiian culture, live music, hands-on activities, and opportunities to reconnect with friends, neighbors, and the greater Lahaina community.
Throughout the day, guests are invited to participate in complimentary lei making, coconut frond weaving, and lomilomi. A special highlight of the October gathering will be a free ʻukulele lesson at 1 p.m. with Jason Jerome of Lahaina Music, welcoming participants to experience the joy of making music together.
The event will also feature a vibrant lineup of local entertainers, bringing the sounds of Hawaiʻi to Lahaina for a day filled with music and aloha.

Paʻūpili Lahaina 3rd Saturdays was created with a simple but meaningful purpose: to provide a consistent gathering place where Lahaina’s people can reconnect, support one another, and celebrate the culture and community that continue to define their home.
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Families, friends, and neighbors are encouraged to come together, enjoy the day, and share in the spirit of aloha.
Presented through the Maui Economic Recovery Commission (Maui ERC) Healing Journey Team, Paʻūpili is more than a monthly event. It is a place where the community can come together, celebrate its strength, embrace its cultural traditions, and continue the journey of healing and rebuilding following the 2023 Maui wildfires.
Paʻūpili Lahaina 3rd Saturdays is made possible through the generous support of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, Maui United Way, and 211 Hawaiʻi, helping sustain opportunities for cultural connection, community well-being, and healing in Lahaina.
