The Maluhia Maui Rotary Club invites Maui residents to participate in its upcoming E-Cycle electronic recycling event on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, from 8 to 11 a.m. The community initiative aims to reduce electronic waste, promote responsible recycling practices, and help preserve Maui’s natural environment for future generations.

Under the theme “Island Recycling for a Sustainable Future,” the event provides residents with an opportunity to responsibly dispose of unwanted electronics while supporting the Rotary Club’s ongoing commitment to community service and environmental sustainability.

As electronic devices become increasingly essential to everyday life, properly disposing of outdated or unwanted equipment remains an important part of protecting the environment.

Electronics can contain valuable recoverable materials, as well as substances that may pose environmental risks when improperly discarded.

Through this initiative, Maluhia Maui Rotary Club hopes to encourage environmentally conscious habits while making electronic recycling more accessible to the community.

Accepted electronic items include televisions, computer monitors, desktop computers, laptops, printers, and additional electronic equipment.

A suggested donation of $20 per item will help support the initiative and the club’s community service efforts. Optional data destruction services are available for an additional $10 per device.

The event will operate through scheduled pickups between 8 and 11 a.m. Residents are encouraged to reserve their pickup in advance by visiting https://bit.ly/maluhiaecycle or scanning the QR code on the event flyer.

Beyond providing a convenient recycling opportunity, the E-Cycle initiative reflects Rotary’s broader commitment to protecting the environment, one of Rotary International’s areas of focus. By encouraging responsible electronic waste management, the club seeks to reduce landfill waste, protect Maui’s land and ocean ecosystems, and promote a cleaner, healthier island community.

Maluhia Maui Rotary Club encourages residents, businesses, and community members to participate and help make a positive impact through responsible recycling.
