Sakamoto Pool Reopens For Lap Swimming

The Coach Soichi Sakamoto Pool reopens today for lap swimming only following facility upgrades, county officials announced.

Beginning today, June 24, the pool will be open for lap swimmers during the following hours:

• Monday to Wednesday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.;
• Thursday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.;
• Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and
• Sunday from noon to 4:30 p.m.

The facility will officially open for use by the general public on Monday, July 1, according to a county announcement.

The pool open swim schedule is the same as the lap swim schedule, county officials said.
