[flashvideo file=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75tSDKSk6Po /]Willie K. returned for an encore performance at the Kanikapila with Poki event fronting the Baldwin House Museum in Historic Lahaina Town.  After helping to launch the event in 2009, Willie K. appeared for a second time, as the featured entertainer for the month of March (2010), celebrating the sweet sounds of Hawaiian music, reflecting the true spirit of aloha.

While listening to the music of Hawaii, guests learn about the culture of the islands and get a glimpse into the past, as artists and emcee share their manao (thoughts) about the region and the historic treasures of Lahaina Town.

The monthly event is presented by the Lahaina Restoration Foundation in coordination with Pacific Radio Group’s KPOA 93.5 FM.  It features live Hawaiian music every second Thursday of the month in the shade of the kou and kukui nut trees.  The free event runs form 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is one of two such events coordinated by station personality Allen “Braddah Poki” Pokipala.
