“We believe the people of Maui will be thrilled with the transformation of Lahaina Center to this vibrant, outdoor shopping environment. The Outlets of Maui offers a whole new approach to outlet retail in Hawai`i with it’s beautiful oceanfront location in this culturally significant historic destination,” said Mona Abadir representative for The Outlets of Maui in the announcement.

“These global brand outlet stores will attract national and international visitors for shopping, dining and entertainment, while offering local residents the opportunity to ‘shop local,’ as well as creating jobs for hundreds of residents,” said Abadir.

The new outlet complex is being marketed as the second outlet location in the state, and the first on Maui, featuring a list of retailers that are new to the community.
