Servco Automotive Acquires Island Subaru on Maui

Servco Automotive today announced it has acquired the assets of Maui’s Island Subaru dealership in Kahului.

Servco purchased the dealership from Kitagawa Motors, but financial details of the deal were not immediately disclosed.

According to the announcement, Island Subaru will operate as Servco Subaru on Maui at its existing location at 110 South Hāna Highway.

Servco Automotive now owns three of the six Subaru dealerships in the state – two on Oʻahu and one on Maui.

According to information released today, the Maui Subaru dealership sold 207 vehicles last year.

“2013 was an amazing year of growth for Subaru both nationally and across the state and we’re excited to bring Servco’s commitment to great customer service to the Maui Subaru ‘ohana in 2014,” said Rick Ching, president, Servco Automotive in a press release statement.

Servco Automotive reportedly runs distribution and retail dealerships for the Toyota, Lexus, Scion, and Subaru brands, as well as a Chevrolet dealership.
