At 9:30 this morning, NWS forecasters say radar showed persistent rain upslope along the Hāna coast from Kīpahulu to Huelo, with elevated water in windward streams.

The public is reminded to stay away from drainage ditches, streams, and low-lying areas that are prone to flooding.  Motorists and pedestrians are advised not to cross fast flowing water in their vehicles or on foot.
