FOUND: Missing Maui Woman May Be on Hawaiʻi Island

A Maui woman and her two young children are safe after they were reported missing on Tuesday.  Maui Police say Halley Ries along with her five year old and eight month old children were located by Hawaiʻi County Police on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi.  All were reported to be in good health.

Hawaiʻi Island police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Maui woman, who they say may be on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi.

Police say Halley Leah Ries, 28, of Haʻikū, Maui is reportedly with her two daughters, ages 5 years old and 8 months, and may be operating a gray 2014 Nissan four-door sedan, license ZBN509.

Ries is described as Caucasian, stands 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 145 pounds, and has green eyes and blond hair.

Police say she has a medical condition that requires medication.

Anyone with information on Ries’ whereabouts is asked to call Hawaiʻi Island police at (808) 935-3311.

Police say individuals who prefer to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
