Trash Service Disrupted in Kihei

Refuse was not picked up in parts of Kihei today because of a staff shortage.  Areas affected include homes on and surrounding Kaiwahine Street, Moi Place, Ohukai Raod, Kaiola Place, Kenolio Road, Kulanihakoi Street and parts of South Kihei Road.  Refuse in the affected area is expected to be picked up on Wednesday, July 21, 2010. 

County officials from the Solid Waste Division apologize for the inconvenience. For more information, call the Department of Environmental Management, Solid Waste Division, at 270-7875.
