Two surfboards reported missing on Maui have since been located.  Family members who reported the incident say the boards were found at a house in ʻĪao this afternoon.  Full details are pending release.

A Maui family is seeking the public’s help in locating two surfboards stolen from a home in Kīhei earlier this week.

Family members say two longboards were stolen from a home on Alahele Place between midnight and the morning hours on Monday Sept. 8, 2014.

The boards are described as:

  • a 9-foot-2-inch black custom longboard with “Chanel” logo on top; and
  • a 9-foot-1-inch green surfboard.
