Dr. Ernest Lee Joins Maui Medical Group’s Otolaryngology Team

Dr. Ernest Lee has joined the otolaryngology team at Maui Medical Group, bringing extensive medical and surgical experience in ear, nose and throat disease and disorder treatment.

Dr. Lee, a graduate of Punahou School in Honolulu, earned a bachelors of arts degree from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. He attended medical school and completed his residency in Rochester, New York, at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.

After completing his residency training in 1995, Dr. Lee joined a group practice at the Rochester Park Medical Group while serving as clinical assistant professor at the University of Rochester. He later worked as an assistant professor of surgery at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York.

He went on to co-found a private group practice–Schenectady Otolaryngology LLP–in 1998. He also served as chief of the Department of Otolaryngology at St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady, New York, for eight years.

In 2012, Dr. Lee joined Ellis ENT Care, Ellis Medical Group and also served as chief of the medical staff at Ellis Hospital before joining Maui Medical Group.

Dr. Lee is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is licensed to practice in Hawai‘i, New York and California.
