“It’s an honor to be chosen to represent the private practice sector and it’s a special moment to have radiologists from Hawai‘i involved in shaping our field of expertise nationally,” said Dr. Kayes.

The two-year term will involve Dr. Kayes in Mainland travel to attend conferences. He will serve as a Hawai‘i representative for the field of radiology.

Dr. Kayes has been a member of the ACR for 13 years, one of over 37,000 members. He will begin his representative duties in May 2015 at an awards ceremony in Washington, DC.
