Nomination of Prosecuting Attorney Resurfaces on March 6

The Maui County Council will make a decision on the nomination of prosecuting attorney John D. Kim to another four-year term during next month’s council meeting on March 6th.

Council Chair Mike White said a motion to approve the nomination failed by a 2 to 5 vote in the Council Chambers on Wednesday, Feb. 18.

Testimony will be accepted from members of the community when the item resurfaces for consideration in two weeks.
