Maui Crime Log Feb. 8-14: Burglaries, Thefts, Break-ins

Maui police responded to 21 burglaries, 19 vehicle thefts, and 26 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period, between Feb. 8 and 14, 2015.

The number of burglaries, vehicle thefts and vehicle break-ins were all up from the amount reported a week earlier.

Of the 19 vehicle thefts, seven vehicles have since been recovered.

Burglary incidents increased for the week with 21 incidents reported, up from the 18 incidents reported the week before.

Vehicle break-ins increased to 26, up from the 20 incidents reported the week before.
