Keawala'i Congregational Church -- Lu'au 2015By Maui Now Staff

The 24th annual Lūʻau of Keawalaʻi Congregational Church will be held on Saturday, Mar. 14 in Mākena. The event will feature some of Hawaiʻi’s most talented musicians, including Kumu Hula Uluwehi Guerrero with Hālau Kauluokalā, Uncle George Kahumoku Jr. and Mark Yamanaka.

This year’s theme is “Nānā I Mua, Nānā I Hope: Looking Forward, Looking Back.” An exhibit looking into the past and future will be on display throughout the day, as well as a gift center tent, a lei table and a keiki play area.

Tickets are $40 for adults and $5 for children 12 years and younger. Entertainment will be offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Food service will be available from noon to 12:30 p.m. only.
