No Advisories After 3.7 Kailua-Kona Quake

There were no immediate advisories issued following a preliminary magnitude 3.7 earthquake reported at 12:22 a.m. today (Friday, March 6, 2015) on the West end of Hawaiʻi Island.

The quake was mostly felt in Kailua-Kona, where 93 people responded to the USGS “Did You Feel It” website.

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 13 kilometers and was located 2 miles NNE of Kailua-Kona, Hawaiʻi; 58 miles W of Hilo, Hawaiʻi; 66 miles W of Hawaiian Paradise Park, Hawaiʻi; and 82 miles SSE of Kihei on Maui, according to the USGS.
