A high surf advisory is in affect for the north facing shores of Maui and Molokai.

Maui County Surf Forecast

North:  Surf heights expected to be head high to several feet overhead with largest waves in the morning and easing in the afternoon.

West:  Surf heights expected at waist-chest-shoulder height at well exposed breaks.

ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW AD

South: Surf heights expected to be in the 1-2′ zone, with occasional larger sets.

Keep in mind surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
