Workshop to Offer Business Tips for Female Entrepreneurs

Attention professional women and “Femfessionals:” Female entrepreneurs are being invited to participate in a workshop to expand and market their businesses. The event will be held Thursday, March 26, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Maui Thing in Wailuku.
Journalist and Business Coach Britt Yap will present participants in-depth tips on how to grow a business on a budget, how to pitch a story to the media and how share free marketing words.
Dream Coach Tiare Thomas will engage the audience in business and career exercises, and share the positive benefits of setting daily intentions, meditating, and creating a dreamboard.
The cost to attend is $32 for members, $42 for non-members. The fee includes dinner, dessert, beverages, “POG-mosas” and wine, and a chance to win raffle prizes totaling $400 in value. Seating is limited; guests must preregister to attend by March 25 online or by emailing [email protected].
“This event is one of the best line ups Femfessionals has put together in Hawaiʻi since its inception in 2013,” said Yap. “I am also looking forward to stepping into my new role as Maui president and sharing my vision for the chapter with the members and getting their feedback. Maui is a special place to me. It’s where I was born and raised, and I like giving back to community by helping empower women entrepreneurs.”
Participants are encouraged to bring a notepad and pen, business cards and positivity.
