The Hyatt Regency Maui is celebrating 35 years in business with its ʻohana.
The resort hosted a special Charter Member dinner on Wednesday, April 8, honoring 41 associates who have been with the resort since it opened its doors in 1980.
The Hyatt Regency Maui celebrated its ʻohana with dinner and a surprise video featuring mahalo messages from past general managers.
To further commemorate 35 years in business on Maui, the Hyatt Regency Maui is teaming up with Maui Cultural Lands, Plant a Wish and Skyline Eco Adventures Kaʻanapali to plant 35 native Hawaiian trees in Honokowai Valley in the resort’s first-even “Plant a Hyatt Wish” program on Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
To engage the entire Hyatt Regency Maui ʻohana, the resort is collecting handwritten wishes, memories and mahalos from guests and associates to plant along with the trees.
