Lowe’s to Purchase 11 Acres at Maui Business Park

Lowe’s is purchasing an 11 acre parcel at the Maui Business Park in Kahului, according to new information compiled by Alexander & Baldwin.

It is one of two parcel sales totaling 13.4 acres that are under binding contract at the Business Park, according to A&B’s First Quarter Earnings report compiled for investors. The document indicates that the sale is expected to close in the third quarter of this year.

The other is a 2.4 acre parcel that will be sold to Pacific Pipe Co., a local pipe wholesale and retail distributor, which is scheduled to close in the second quarter.

Lowe’s currently has a store at the Maui Marketplace in Kahului, less than a mile away.
