Even though Hurricane Andres has fizzled in the East Pacific, the swell it generated is forecasted to persist into the weekend. The swell is forecast to peak Friday and hold through the weekend before easing through early next week.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
