Maui Crime Log Aug. 23–29: Burglaries, Break-Ins, Thefts

Maui police responded to 19 burglaries, 23 vehicle break-ins and six vehicle thefts in Maui County over the seven-day period between Sunday, Aug. 16, and Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015.

The number of burglaries is one less than reported the previous week.

The number of vehicle break-ins this week is five less than the previous week.

The number of vehicle thefts is three less than reported last week.

• Sunday, Aug. 23, 10:03 a.m.: Baldwin Ave., Hi Tech Surf & Sport, Pā‘ia. Burglary non-residential, attempted burglary.
