Haleakala Summit under Wind Advisory 12/9/10

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind ADVISORY for the Summit of Haleakala on Maui until 6 p.m. on Friday.
Sensors atop the summit registered strong southerly winds of between 25 and 35 mph with stronger gusts.
A wind advisory means that winds of up to 30 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
