Molokaʻi Community Plan Advisory Meetings, Oct. 21-22

The last two Community Plan Advisory Committee meetings on Molokaʻi have been scheduled for today and tomorrow, Oct. 21 and 22, 2015, by the Maui County Department of Planning, Long-Range Planning Division.

Both meetings will begin at 3 p.m. and will be held at the Office of Hawaiian Affairs/Department of Hawaiian Homelands conference room located at 600 Kamehameha Highway.

Department officials will review the Draft Community Plan, Chapters 1 – 10, regarding Molokai’s future, environment, hazards, economic development, land use, housing, community design, infrastructure, public facilities and services as well as implementation and monitoring.

The most current draft of the Community Plan Update is available at the Maui Planning Department website and at the Mitchell Pauole Center and Molokai Public Library.
